Maine Lakes Society's new Executive Director, Susan Gallo (second from the right), spoke at a state house press conference Tuesday to help the Maine Conservation Alliance roll out “Securing Maine’s Future”. This new publication identifies four policy priorities - clean water, energy independence, healthy local food, and land and wildlife - as critical for ensuring healthy people and a healthy future for Maine’s economy and environment. It provides a blueprint that will help the new administration and new legislators establish their health, economic and environmental priorities.
